About This Rose

Masses of soft cream blooms adorn this well foliaged hybrid tea rose. Each bloom is petal filled creating a wonderful informal quartered flower, each carrying a light airy scent.

Ideal as a cut bloom. Hardy and healthy this rose looks equally resplendent planted singly or en masse.

Approx  Height: 1.5m

The Spirit of Rural Women rose celebrates the Centenary of Women in Agriculture & Business of SA Inc., Australia’s oldest Rural Women’s Organisation. The first Branch was formed at Riverton, SA in October 1917. At its peak, WAB had 84 Branches across South Australia.

In 2000 the name was changed to Women in Agriculture & Business (WAB).

This unique South Australian organisation was set up to provide opportunities for education, friendship and self-development for women interested in rural, agricultural and business issues.

WAB was to run parallel with the existing Agricultural Bureau Branches for men, and was initially called Women’s Branches of the Agricultural Bureau.
